Motivate, Celebrate and Support Special Olympics Athletes on May 17

Volunteer opportunity for part or all day on May 17 for SOCT Northern Time Trials at Loomis Chaffee School. Join the fun #HoffmanOutreach

Do you want to positively impact your community and make a difference in the lives of others? Volunteer your time at the upcoming Special Olympics CT Northern Time Trials, Sunday, May 17th at Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. You and your family’s enthusiasm, compassion and encouragement will inspire the Athletes and Unified Partners from across the state competing in athletics and aquatics as they qualify for the summer games. High school students may also receive community service credits toward graduation.

Your participation will make this a very special day for the athletes and their families. With multiple opportunities ranging from athlete escort and staging, lane judging, results recording and event timing, there is something for everyone! No experience is required … just a willing and caring heart. So don’t wait!

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.
