New Children's Learning Center Now Open in Avon

Clementines Studio is a brand new children’s activity and learning center in Avon, CT. The Studio just opened in April and offers, Acting and Improv classes, Spanish classes, Natureworks art class, a Kindergarten Readiness program and birthday parties. Clementines Studio has a variety of week-long Summer intensive programs beginning the third week of June and running throughout the summer.

Simsbury residents Kristin Pomeroy, Erica Lubonta and Monica Quiroga started Clementines as a place for children to learn and grow. “At Clementines Studio, we believe that a child’s success and growth come from hands-on learning with plenty of encouragement and enthusiasm.” These three teachers focus on nurturing children’s unique creative expression. The classes at Clementines Studio teach valuable skills for life. The Acting and Improv classes can help children find their voice. It offers valuable tools for public speaking situations and other social interactions. Spanish is offered starting at the preschool level to give children the building blocks they need to grasp language during the most opportune years when it can be most easily absorbed. The Kindergarten Readiness class will prepare 3-5 year olds for the rigors of a full day Kindergarten program. They also offer a Natureworks program that focuses on using natural elements in artistic expression.

In addition to the variety of classes offered at Clementines Studio, they also offer “Date Night” once a month so that parents can enjoy an evening to themselves while kids enjoy a pizza party with games, crafts and other fun activities. They also offer a variety of themed birthday party options.
