New Youth Theatre Ensemble
The Complete Actor Studio and Studio A Dance & Performing Arts have teamed up to form the Act One Players, a youth theater ensemble

The Complete Actor Studio and Studio A Dance & Performing Arts have teamed up to form the Act One Players, a youth theater ensemble serving children age 7-17. In their opening season, the Act One Players will present the musical, Wonderland by James Devita and Bill Francoeur. The performance will take place on Saturday, November 19 at 7pm at the Ferguson Theater at the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT.
“We wanted to bring a quality well-rounded theater experience to children of all ages year round. There are great theater programs in the summer, but in the fall and winter many of our youth travel quite a ways to find theater performance opportunities.”
In this program students will explore their creativity through dance, music & drama instruction. It meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-6:00 pm starting with dance & choreography at Studio A Dance & Performing Arts and moving to The Complete Actor Studio for music & acting instruction and play rehearsal. The program starts on Tuesday, September 13th and runs for ten weeks ending with the dress and tech rehearsal and then the final performance.
