Relay for Life Fundraiser Redstone Pub April 21st 6-8
Fund Raising event at Redstone Pub April 21,6-8 to benefit Relay for Life. Guest Speaker Pam Lacko author of Laughing in the face of Cancer
Relay For Life is an overnight event that unites communities in the fight against cancer. It is a way to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and fight back against a disease that takes too much from too many. The actual relay will take place on the Farmington high school track Saturday May 16-17. Right now there are 173 teams, each team will set up campsite and enjoy entertainment, activities, and special ceremonies throughout the night.
Cancer survivors and caregivers are the guests of honor and each Relay For Life kicks off with a special recognition of them, followed by an inspirational luminaria ceremony.
Team Friends, which is one of teams for Relay for Life, has a fundraising event that will take place at Redstone Pub, 10 Jim Gallagher Way in Simsbury on Tuesday April 21 from 6-8. A suggested donation of $10 for doors prizes. The guest speaker is Pam Lacko the author of “Laughing in the Face if Cancer”.
