Shakespeare Festivus Begins Saturday, March 28, Join Us!
Avon Public Library presents "Shakespeare: A Festivus for the Rest of Us," for an introduction to the "Bard of Avon"
The Festivus Begins! The Avon Public Library kicks off the spring literature series, Shakespeare: A Festivus for the Rest of Us, with a discussion by Robert Davis, Professor of Theater at The Hartt School on Saturday, March 28 @ 2:00 pm. Professor Davis will give an insightful overview of Shakespeare’s works and discuss his impact on contemporary audiences. Theater students from The Hartt School will accompany Professor Davis by performing vignettes from selected plays. The program begins at 2:00 pm and is free to the public.
