SHILPA RAJASHEKAR, M.D., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS

Shilpa Rajashekar, M.D., of Middletown, a specialist in family medicine, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

            Dr. Rajashekar received her medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, India.  Dr. Rajashekar completed her residency in family medicine at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown.  She has been in practice since 2008 and has previously worked in different outpatient settings including private practice in South Windsor as well as at FQHC in New Britain.

            Dr. Rajashekar is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Rajashekar is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and wound care.

            At Saint Francis, Dr. Rajashekar is practicing as a member of Prime HealthCare PC in Avon, as well in the satellite office in South Windsor.
