State Police Make More DUI Arrests Over Holiday Weekend
State police investigating more accidents and made more DUI arrests over the holiday weekend compared to last year.
State Police investigated nearly 400 more accidents and made more DUI arrests over the long holiday weekend compared to last year.
State troopers step-up enforcement beginning at midnight on Nov. 25 and conclude at midnight on Nov. 30. There were a number of sobriety checkpoints and DUI patrols over the weekend, said Lt. J. Paul Vance, State Police spokesman. Troopers focused on targeting those who were driving intoxicated or aggressively driving.
