WEST HARTFORD – The world’s second largest selling rum, Tanduay Asian Rum, was introduced in the U.S. in July, and Connecticut is one of two states where it has been launched. Maximum Beverage in Bishops Corner will feature the brand at a free tasting event scheduled for Friday, Sept. 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. A mixologist will create signature cocktails using the premium rum, distilled in both gold and silver expressions.
