Two New Officers Sworn into Avon Police Department

Avon Town Clerk Ann Dearstyne swore in two new police officers on Monday.

Beverly Brown, of Windsor, and Christine Nietupski, of Enfield, are the latest additions to the .

Both have experience in the police force. Brown comes to Avon from the New Britain Police Department. Nietupski was an officer at the Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services.

On March 26, Dearstyne swore in another new officer, , of Granby. Connole previously a police dispatcher at the Avon department. She is currently doing police academy training.
