Valentine's Day at Lisa's Crown & Hammer Restaurant & Pub

Lisa’s Crown & Hammer Restaurant & Pub, 3 Depot St., Collinsville, will serve a three-course pre-fixe menu on Valentine’s Day, Sunday Feb. 14, announced owner Lisa Maurer of Avon. Restaurant hours are noon to 10 p.m. that day and live music will be performed by Indian Summer beginning at 5 p.m.
Appetizer choices are: Pao de Queijo - Brazilian cheesy breads with duck gravy for dipping; Goat Cheese Napoleon - Roasted beets layered with goat cheese, served with arugula and lemon citronette; or Spicy Shrimp and Grits - garlic and lemon-drop chili glazed shrimps with creamy yellow corn grits.

Entrée selections are: Scallops and risotto-bacon wrapped scallops with risotto cacio e pepe and a sweet pea pesto; Grilled Duck Breast - served with a spiced cherry butter and pureed sweet potatoes; Gorgonzola Stuffed Tenderloin - 8oz. filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes, and wild mushrooms.

Dessert choices are: Cherry and Dark Chocolate Cobbler with Pecan Crust; or Creme Fraiche Brulee with Brandied Fruit.

The cost is $55 per person for a three-course dinner; add a 3.5-oz. wine pairing with each course for $70. For reservations, call 860-693-9199.
