Westport Writers' Workshops to open at the Farmington Valley Arts Center!
Westport Writers' Workshop is launching creative writing classes in Avon: fiction, memoir, writing for teens, one-day workshops.
Calling all future bards of Avon… and beyond! We at Westport Writers’ Workshop, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the literary arts and a staple of the Fairfield County creative scene, are bringing our celebrated writing workshops to the Farmington Valley Arts Center (25 Arts Center Lane, Avon, studio 9A). Starting during the week of October 17th, we’ll roll out four classes in this gorgeous space—with many more to come. Our supportive and nurturing environment will appeal to writers of all levels of experience.
Our first classes will be: Journey of Writing for Women, Writing about Your Life: Memoir/Personal Essay (two levels, for beginners to more advanced students), Writing for Teens: What’s Your Story?, and
