Avon Public Library continues its exploration of World War II on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 7:00 pm with The American Home Front in World War II: Commitment and Shared Sacrifice presented by Avon resident Jim Genco.

How did Americans at home contribute to the war effort? Jim Genco, published author and President of the New England Antique Arms Society will share insights, examples and artifacts that demonstrate the vital roles played by these Americans during WWII. This program is made possible by the Donald G. Reed Memorial Fund.
