Yom Hashoah- reading the names of victims

Yom Hashoah is holocaust remembrance.

The Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation of Simsbury will again hold its annual 24 hour vigil of reading names of victims of the Holocaust for the holiday of Yom Hashoah this year. We will begin on May 4th at 6PM at Eno Memorial Hall and continue reading names non-stop until 6PM on May 5th. Please consider spending 15 minutes speaking the names and remembering. *If we were to read all 6 million names, it would take approximately 350 days of continuous reading non stop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
