4. Realty company completes final Steele Center spot (newbritainherald.com) — Construction is now complete on the final building at Berlin's Steele Center, adding 52 more apartments near the train station, including units with rents tied to area median income. With shops, a coffee and bagel spot, and additional mixed-use buildings nearby, town leaders say the project is revitalizing downtown and expanding housing options, including new affordable units coming later this year.
5. Berlin fair kicks off their 77th year this weekend! (fox61.com) — Berlin's signature Berlin Fair is underway this weekend, offering rides, food, shopping, and a major fundraiser for local charities run by the Berlin Lions Club and church volunteers. With gates already open through Sunday, residents can enjoy handmade goods, classic fair treats, and community spirit while supporting programs that directly benefit Berlin and nearby neighborhoods.
