Papa’s Jeep Ram, a New Britain, Connecticut Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram truck dealer, will host its 7th Annual Charity Sock Hop on Saturday, April 14th from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids five and over and can be purchased in advance by calling (860) 225-8751. A limited number will be available at the door. Papa’s Jeep Ram is located at 585 East Main Street in New Britain.
The charity event was started in 2011 to help raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Connecticut and provide a fun night for everyone! Car enthusiasts, Special Olympics athletes and friends and families are all welcome as Papa’s Jeep Ram will transform its showroom into a fun, 50’s style dance party featuring live music from The Sharades. All attendees will enjoy an evening of great music, dancing, plenty of food, raffles and contests for Best Dressed and Best Dancing. Anyone with a classic car is urged to bring it, and Papa’s will provide special parking for all classic cars.
Domenic Papa, 2nd generation President of Papa’s, looks forward to the Sock Hop every year. “Our Annual Sock Hop is one of the highlights of our charitable programs. It’s fun for everyone, and to see the looks on these kids’ faces makes it all worth the time and effort it takes to put this event together every year. The Sock Hop sells out every year so we urge you to get your tickets early,” said Mr. Papa.
