Berlin High Students Honored at CT Regional Scholastic Art Awards

The Berlin High School Art Department congratulates four students that have won awards at the 2017 CT Regional Scholastic Art Awards.

From Berlin High School: The Berlin High School Art Department is pleased to announce that four students have won awards at the 2017 Connecticut Regional Scholastic Art Awards!

This national program was originated to honor the creative efforts of grade 7 to 12 students in public, private, and parochial schools, and is now the largest and most senior program of its type in the country. Following the close of the Connecticut Regional exhibit which took place on January 29th at the Lincoln Theater at the University of Hartford, the select Gold Key award winners from each region will have their artwork reviewed by a blue ribbon panel of judges at the National level in March. The National Jury will select “Gold Medal” National winners whose artwork will be exhibited in New York City in June, with the student awards ceremony to be held at Carnegie Hall.

Congratulations and good luck to Grade 12 student Hannah Schulz, who won the Gold Key for Mixed Media and will be going on to the National level!
