Berlin Library Seeks Horror Stories (But They Must Be Short)
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is hosting a special two-sentence horror story contest for writers 14 and up.
BERLIN, CT — Anybody can spin a scary yarn.
But can you do it in only two sentences?
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library, 234 Kensington Road, Berlin is trying to find out with it Halloween two-sentence horror story contest.

Writers aged 14 and up are invited to try, but the works cannot be like and Edgar Allan Poe novel — you're only allowed two periods at the end.
The deadline is Monday, Oct. 24, meaning budding fright writers can spend the weekend cooking up something scary — and brief.

The library has set up a web page for folks to write their stories online.
All participants get a special bookmark and the winner will be announced on Oct. 31 — Halloween.
