Berlin Names Best Scarecrows, 'People's Choice' Pumpkins

This year a total of 24 scarecrows competed against each other for the title of Berlin’s Best Scarecrow. The winners were decided by the public voting online. All scarecrows stayed home and decorated the front yards of Berlin residents and businesses.

The Berlin Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the Berlin’s Best Scarecrow. a shared title this year. The 2020 Crowing Rights goes to the Smith Family - Kelly, Tom and Lilly with the Smith Scary Scarecrow and the Berlin Peck Memorial Library staff with Edgar Allan Poemkin. The winners also received a a Berlin restaurant certificate and a framed photo of their award - winning scarecrow.

The Recreation Department also held online voting for the People’s Choice pumpkin in the Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. The winner of this coveted award goes to Lillian Colella.

Town’s website and Town’s Facebook page have the photos of the Berlin’s Best Scarecrows and the Pumpkin Decorating Contest People Choice winner as well as the other entries.
