BERLIN, CT — The Aftermath K9 Grant was founded by Aftermath to showcase, support, and reward the unique contributions made by K9 units across the country and, indirectly, to recognize and support the communities that we both serve. The month-long contest awards grants, up to $20,000 in total grants, to new or established K9 programs for maintenance, safety equipment, or officer training. Officers and community members nominate and vote for local departments through our website and on Instagram; the departments with the most popular votes receive grants (up to fourteen grants awarded).
This year, our own Ofc. Aimee Krzykowski and K9 Casner were awarded a runner up grant of $500.00! Thank you to Aftermath and to everyone that cast a vote for Ofc. Aimee and Casner!
