Berlin Police Department To Renovate Lobby

BERLIN, CT — Renovations to the lobby at police headquarters will begin next week and as a result our records bureau transaction window will not be accessible. The renovations involve construction of a private interview area connected to the public lobby and we anticipate it will be complete in early September of 2020.

During this time we are requesting that citizens who would like to obtain copies of police reports
or have any questions pertaining to police records, to contact us by phone, fax or email. In
response to these requests, a member of our records bureau staff will make every effort to fulfill
them without the need for anyone to come the police department.

All renewal payments for alarm registrations must be sent via mail as we will be unable to
collect them in person during construction.
