A modest suggestion regarding full disclosure

A suggestion to publish on the Town of Berlin's website all proposed revisions to the Town's ordinances well in advance of any scheduled public hearing

There is a principle in the accounting profession called full and fair disclosure.  A hearing is scheduled on June 7th regarding the revision to a town ordinance prohibiting junk cars, appliances and other debris from accumulating on private property, possibly resulting in fines of $100/day.

I attempted to locate a copy of that revision on the Town of Berlin's website; however, even though the hearing is merely two weeks away, the revised ordinance was not publicly posted on our Town's website as a courtesy to Berlin's citizens.

I humbly suggest that all future revisions to Town ordinances, scheduled public hearings, public notices, etc., be made available as early as possible on the Town of Berlin's website as a convenience to its citizens.  In this age of technology, often a simple scan and save as a .pdf document suffices.
