Watching the Republican debate last night, while Rick Perry was trying to recall the third department that he would close at the federal government (was it the Presidential Ronald Reagan Alzheimer's Department?), I thought of a solution for the 18% poverty rate in America, 47 million without health insurance, 26 million unemployed, one-third of the homeowners in default on their mortgages, property values plummeting 30% since 2006, $15 trillion national debt, $1.6 trillion spent in the middle east, sharp increases in property taxes, shrinking value of the dollar, deteriorating infrastructure, armies in Iraq and Afghanistan costing our nation billions of dollars every week and resulting in casualties every day, Iran’s development of a nuclear bomb, our huge trade deficit, the greenhouse effect, rising energy costs, increases in cancer and heart disease, social security unfunded, rising medical costs, huge student debt, widespread illiteracy, impotence, alzheimers, autism, AIDs, crime, domestic violence, etc.: it’s my 0-0-0 plan for income taxes, corporate taxes, and sales taxes.
Bet I would win the Republican primary now!
