I was asked to provide a Real Estate Blog to be included in the PATCH website, which I am more then happy to provide.
As I considered what my first blog would be, the Bin Laden story hit the news and it was clear to me my first blog would not be on Real Estate. In future blogs I will provide Real Estate information but not today. I fell the emphasis should be on the people who make our homes safe, our troops. I personally want to THANK everyone who is currently serving and those who have served in the past. Berlin should be proud to have great men and women who have served in our military. One person comes to mind Brad Parsons. I spoke to Brad the day he was leaving to begin his duty in Iraq. Here was this man leaving his family on Father's Day, the very day his daughter was graduating from BHS. I thought about the sacrifice that Brad and his family were making in order for my family to be safe. We need to remember what a great country we live in and also remember what makes it great.
So my first blog is going to ask everyone to do me a favor. The next time you see someone who has served present or past take five seconds and say THANKS FOR YOU SERVICE! I know they deserve it and would appreciate it.
