'Chicago' On Stage at Connecticut Cabaret Theatre

Connecticut Cabaret Theatre offers table seating so patrons bring their own food and drink. One might want to have an early dinner out and finish the evening off getting desert at the Cabaret while seeing a show. The desert bar features cakes, biscotti, cookies, coffee, tea, flavored water, etc. Perhaps you decide to bring your own food and drink and enjoy dinner at the theatre before the show. Since Jan. 7 and until Feb. 12, the musical “Chicago” will be playing, the first production of the 2011 season.

“This show is extremely popular,” said Owner, Producer, and Artistic Director Kris McMurray. “It hasn’t been around here except for when it played at the Bushnell a number of years ago. It’s still playing on Broadway.”
Continuing into the 2011 season, Connecticut Cabaret Theatre has more exciting presentations. “Moon Over Buffalo” is a comedy that will be featured from Feb. 18 through March 26, “John & Jen” is a musical that plays April 1 through May 7, “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” runs from May 13 through June 18, and “Smokey Joe’s Café” will be playing from June 24 through July 30. Season tickets are on sale for all five shows.
