CT Dept of Edu Recognizes Berlin HS As Top Ranked High School

Berlin HS received recognition as the top ranked HS in CT based on its population class and performance on the statewide assessment.

From The Connecticut Dept of Education: On November 30, 2016, the Connecticut Department of Education recognized Berlin High School as the top ranked high school in Connecticut in its population class based on student performance on Connecticut’s statewide Career and Technical Education Assessment. This is a rigorous assessment that incorporates English, math, workplace, and career cluster competencies. Over 130 schools in Connecticut take part in this overall CTE testing.

In congratulating staff and students on this achievement, Principal Francis T. Kennedy stated, “Berlin High is proud to provide a variety of opportunities for students to explore future career interests. This recognition is a tribute to the dedication of the Career and Technical Education faculty and the hard work of our students.”
