Berlin Mayor Adam Salina praised the redevelopment plan, “Dr. Ratchford’s investment will help continue the revitalization of Farmington Avenue corridor. This property is located at a key intersection in the midst of our commercial area. The Eye Care Center will add to recent improvements in the vicinity including the Farmington Savings Bank and Liberty Bank projects, the ongoing creation of Veterans Memorial Park and the Town’s streetscape project.  We look forward to the groundbreaking.”
