Murder Warrant Granted In Berlin Motel Shooting: PD
Police will make an arrest and have identified the victim.

BERLIN, CT β A suspicious death at the Berlin Days Inn has been ruled a homicide by gun shot by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Police identified the victim as Pratikkumar Jagani, 25, of Berlin. Police obtained an arrest warrant Rahheem McDonald, 37, of Waterbury. He will be charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a permit and possession of a high capacity magazine. Bond was set at $2 million.
McDonald is being held on unrelated charges in another jurisdiction and his arrest on murder and other charges is pending.

Police responded to the motel early Sunday morning on a report of a suspicious death.
