Ready to Pitch That Christmas Tree?

Here's how and where you can recycle your tree in Berlin.

Berlin residents are reminded of the options available to dispose of fresh cut Christmas trees.

Curbside tree collection began this week. Town officials say trees must be at least six feet away from your automated collection cart so as not to interfere with the disposal of household refuse.

Trees also will be accepted for recycling at the Town Recycling Center on Massirio Drive during normal business hours — 7:15 to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday and on Saturday, Jan. 24 , from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
