Report: Berlin Storeowner Asked Teen for Nude Photos
A Berlin storeowner has been arrested after he reportedly offered candy or money to a teen customer in exchange for nude photos.
The owner of a Berlin store has been arrested on a risk of injury to a minor charge for allegedly asking a 15-year-old male for nude photos in exchange for candy or $100.
Berlin Police charged Albert Mortensen with a felony count of risk of injury to a minor, after the teen’s mom came forward with the allegations from the incident that reportedly occurred several months ago, according to a WTNH report.
The teen said the proposition occurred several months ago when he visited Mortensen’s convenience store, “Main Street,” at 114 Main St. in Berlin. The teen told WTNH that he immediately left the store, but was afraid to tell his mother for months be cause he was ashamed and embarrassed about the alleged proposition from Mortensen.

Mortensen, who lives in Newington, is free on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8, according to the WTNH report, which can be found here.
