Rich's Citgo: Theresa Tonina makes you feel at home
Rich's Citgo: a home away from home.

I discovered a home away from home at Rich's Citgo, located at 116 Main Street in Kensington, Connecticut. And it was merely by chance through finding a coupon for an oil change in a local paper.
When you go to Rich's Citgo, you are greeted by its owner, Theresa Tonina, who manages the auto repair shop in the office. How refreshing to be able to speak with the owner of a business in today's impersonal corporate world!
While you wait for your car to be serviced, Theresa offers you coffee, donuts and an assortment of vegetables she just purchased at a nearby farm as if you were a family member visiting a relative. But I barely had enough time to wolf down my second donut since the waiting times were very brief. Besides, there is always a newspaper available to read there as well as a cable television to watch, making the minutes seem like seconds. I like that.

But not only do you receive the hospitality of being at home but also top notch services at prices you can afford. Diego is the head mechanic at the shop. Even though other auto repair shops had employed high pressure sales tactics for me to spend thousands of dollars on repairs to my 1994 Chevy Lumina, Diego did not. Wow! When was the last time you encountered that sort of honest advice at an auto repair shop? I trust Diego, and I am now a loyal customer of Rich's Citgo.
If you have not taken your car to Rich's Citgo, I highly recommend you doing so. Please say hello to Theresa and Diego for me. In my opinion, they know how to treat their customers.
