SAT Scores: Berlin High School Students Score Right Around State Average
SAT college entrance exam scores for 2012 were released by the College Board Monday and, on average, students at the high school at about the same level as their 11th and 12th grade counterparts statewide.

SAT scores at Berlin High School dipped in 2012, but remain, on average, about equal to the rest of Connecticut and the nation.
At the high school, the average math score on the test was 517 compared to the statewide average of 512. In 2011, Berlin students averaged 518 on the math exam.

Writing scores at the high school averaged 510 and 510 for the state in 2012, while students at Berlin scored 498 compared to 506 on the reading exam.

83 percent of students at the high school took the SAT exam last spring and Connecticut has one of the highest participation rates in the country.
