Schaller Auto World May Move to Saturn Spot

After two years of vacancy dealership could fill the void.

Schaller Auto World has applied to the Berlin Zoning Board of Appeals for local approval for a car dealership and auto repair location at 34 Frontage Road in Berlin. The 3.5 acre site was formerly occupied by a Saturn dealership that has been closed for two years.

“Schaller Auto World’s application indicating that they plan to purchase the former Saturn dealership on Frontage Road is great news for Berlin," Mayor Adam Salina said. "We are pleased that this vacant property will be put back to productive use in a way that takes advantage of the layout of the site and the existing building its convenient location at the Route 9 ramp on Frontage Road.

"The Schaller family has a long history of successful auto dealerships in the Central Connecticut including part of their Honda dealership already in Berlin. They are a great fit for the building and their purchase will reinforce the concentration of car dealers in the Webster Square area.”
