Veteran Berlin Police Officer Earns Big Promotion
The 20-year veteran earned the rank of sergeant and is the department's patrol supervisor.

BERLIN, CT β One of Berlin's finest was celebrated recently with a major promotion, according to the Berlin Police Department this week.
The BPD said officer Cathy Griffin was officially promoted to the rank of sergeant at a special ceremony at Berlin Town Hall.
Griffin has been with the department for 20 years and has served many roles, including patrol officer, detective, DARE officer, field training officer, and, most recently, court liaison.
