WEATHER UPDATE: Here We Snow Again Berlin

A cold, snowy weekend is expected.

Enjoy the sunshine today — it’s probably the last time we’re going to see it until early next week, according to the National Weather Service.

The weekend is expected to bring a chance of snow Saturday and Sunday, continuing through Monday night. On Sunday morning, there’s a chance of snow before changing to a mix of snow and rain, and then rain the afternoon. But that rain will change back to snow late Sunday night and continue into Monday. The good news is that accumulations shouldn’t be any more than a few inches.

WTNH meteorologist Gil Simmons says the approaching storm system “is looking less impressive.”
