What's Open or Closed in Berlin for Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, here’s a list of what’s open and what’s closed in the Town of Berlin.

Berlin Town Hall

All offices are closed.

Trash pickup

The normal trash/recycling schedule will apply.

Schools

All Berlin Public and private schools are closed.

Libraries

The Berlin Peck Library will be closed.

CT DMV

Department of Motor Vehicles major customer service offices will close for the Martin Luther King Day holiday on Friday, Jan. 16, at 12:30 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7:45 a.m.

Major DMV service offices will be open on Thursday until 5:30 p.m. All AAA offices will be open to process renewals for driver licenses and non-driver ID cards during their normal business hours.

Banks

All banks in Connecticut will be closed.

Stock Markets

The stock markets will be closed.

Postal Service

There is no mail delivery and post offices are closed.
