$1,000 in store credit available to teachers stocking classroom libraries

As of August 21st, $1,098.21 exactly. 

The credit at Rainy Day Paperback can be used by ANY local teacher to pay for part of a book purchase for their classroom.  Our regular prices are half the original cover price.  With store credit, you pay only a quarter the cover price, the other quarter is paid from the store credit.  A book that was originally $8 brand new would cost only $2 cash to a teacher using the store credit.

We have lots of children's books available, including many that appear on the new common core reading lists.  We also stock foreign language books and lots of special education books.  The more unusual education books are listed ONLY on our website.  You can order off the website and come pick it up in the store, no shipping required. 

Most of the picture and chapter books are NOT currently listed on our website, so you're best coming into the store to check out selection.

The credit can be used by ANY local teacher at ANY local school.  That's for ALL the schools, not just Bethel.

If you have books you want to trade in for store credit (cleaning out relatives house, remains of a tag sale, kids off to college, etc), you CAN put it on the teacher credit instead of your own, just ask! Please see our website for more information on what books we accept for store credit.
