26-Year-Old Former Bethel Resident Passed Away

James “Jimmy” J. Sayers, age 26, formerly of Bethel, CT died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.

Jimmy was born in Danbury, CT, December 29, 1989 son of William Smith of Sandy Hook, CT and Suzanne (Sayers) Billerbach of Sandy Hook, CT. He was a graduate of Bethel High School and had worked at various jobs.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter: Melina Marie Kollias of Danbury; brother: Steven J. Billerbach of Brookfield, CT; sisters: Peggy Depallo and Sara Billerbach both of Sandy Hook; maternal grandmother: Suzanne Sayers of Bethel, CT; paternal grandfather: William Smith of Norwalk, CT; step-father: Steven Billerbach of Sandy Hook as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be conducted from the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel Thursday morning at 11:00 with a graveside service to be held at Wooster Cemetery (section 16), Danbury at 11:30 AM.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 and in the evening from 7:00 to 9:00.
