Arrest Made In Bethel Woman's Murder: PD

Police tracked the suspect down in Ohio.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man was arrested in connection with the killing of 25-year-old Bethel resident Emily Todd in Bridgeport last week.

Brandon Roberts, 26, was arrested in Ohio as a fugitive from justice after police obtained a murder warrant for his arrest, according to NBC Connecticut. He had fled Connecticut and was staying with his father, police said.

Todd was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head Dec. 8 at a boat launch ramp.

Roberts was quickly identified as a suspect and detectives got to work to track his whereabouts, according to the Connecticut Post.

Roberts is expected to be extradited back to Connecticut in the near future.
