LEGENDARY FOLKSINGER TO ATTEND FILM PREMIERE AT DANBURY THEATRE
MEET THE FILMMAKER SERIES CONTINUES

This Friday night a very special event will take place at The Palace Danbury. The documentary film TOM RUSH: NO REGRETS will have it’s Connecticut premiere at The Palace.
Part of The Palace Danbury’s MEET THE FILMMAKERS SERIES, director Rob Stegman and the legendary folksinger Tom Rush will be in attendance at this screening.
Winner of the BEST DOCUMENTARY AWARD at the New Hampshire Film Festival, the film chronicles Rush’s illustrious and unconventional career.

Prior to the screening a COMPLEMENTARY WINE & CHEESE RECEPTION will be held in the theatre lobby at 7:00PM. Immediately following the film, there will be a Q&A session with Director Rob Stegman and Tom Rush.
Tom Rush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound. His distinctive guitar style, wry humor, and warm, expressive voice have made him both a legend and a lure to audiences around the world.

Rush has long championed emerging artists. His early recordings introduced the world to the work of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor. James Taylor told Rolling Stone Magazine, “Tom was not only one of my early heroes, but also one of my main influences.”
”Tom Rush: No Regrets” will be screened at The Palace Danbury on Friday, Nov 7, at 8:00 p.m. All seats cost $20 and include a wine and cheese reception prior to the film.
