Bethel Blooms Spring Celebration Information

Saturday marks the Annual Bethel Bloom Celebration in downtown Bethel, sponsored by the Bethel Chamber of Commerce. Starting at 10 a.m. and lasting into the afternoon, various specials, sales, raffles and booths will be held along Greenwood Avenue. Here are some of them, but do post additional information in the comments section.

• The Chamber will be judging and announcing the winners of the  Contestants constructed flowers that will be hung from lampposts from the Dolan Plaza to Bethel Food Market. First prize is $50 and second prize is $25.
• The event also includes the Third Annual Bethel Student Art Show.
• A will take place on front lawn of the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
• The Bethel Public Library will selling pansies.
• The Morning Glory Breakfast Program will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. outside Plain Jane's.
