Bethel Cinema to Play Documentary Directed by Local Resident

Starting tonight,  will play the documentary "Buck," according to owners Pamela and Ken Karpen's weekly newsletter. The theater will also hold a Q&A with director and Bethel resident Cindy Meehl after each 6:45 p.m. showing on Friday and/or Saturday. Here are the details about the film:

"Buck," is a documentary featuring modern, American cowboy an "horse whisperer" Buck Brannaman. "In this film, the animal-human relationship becomes a metaphor for facing the daily challenges of life." The film is rated PG and is 99 minutes long. The showtimes for the upcoming week are:

  • Friday, July 15 - 12:20 p.m., 2:25 p.m., 4:35 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 9:35 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 16 - 12:20 p.m., 2:25 p.m., 4:35 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 9:35 p.m.

Tonight through Thursday, Bethel Cinema will also continue to run "Beginners," "Larry Crowne" and "Midnight in Paris."
