In this new series, Patch features Bethel community members who make a difference in the lives of residents.

In this new series, Patch features outstanding members of the community that go above and beyond to give them the recognition they deserve.

Today we feature Allison Antonucci, a local teacher who has made a difference, sent in by Camryn Walsh.

Who is your favorite teacher?

Allison Antonucci.

Where does she teach?

She is a teacher at Bethel Middle School for eighth grade Reading and Language Arts.

Why is she your favorite?

I would say Miss Antonucci is my favorite because she is always there for her students inside and outside of the academic world. Besides teaching phenomenally, she tries to know each student inside and out. On a day a student does not seem themselves, she knows they are not themselves. I’ve referenced her as the “school sister” many of times.

I can definitely tell her occupation is more than just a job because she walks into class everyday with a smile on her face and with positive vibes. She always encourages students to try their best as well. Miss Antonucci is overall an amazing teacher, and person, with her positive attitude and caring personality.
