Bethel Cops Welcome Newest Officer

BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Police Department welcomed its newest officer this week.

Danilo DeOliveira graduated from the Connecticut Municipal Police Academy on June 26, following six months of training. DeOliveira will start a Field Training Program taught by senior officers before heading out on his own.

DeOliveira is pictured here with his father, a retired police sergeant from Brazil, who had the honor of pinning his son's shield.
