Bethel Fire & EMS Mourns Death of Firefighter

BETHEL, CT — Bethel Fire and EMS announced the death of firefighter Ira Pollack on social media Wednesday.

"Ira served the Town of Bethel for many years between the Fire Department and Town Highway Department. He will be dearly missed by many," the post read in part.

Pollack, 67, also served as president of the Danbury Rail Museum Board of Directors and a member of the Bethel Highway Department.
