Bethel Fire Marshal Reminds Residents of Warming Centers Open During Extreme Cold

As we enter a very cold weather pattern, The Town of Bethel will have the normal places open as warming centers during normal hours: see below for specifics:

• Bethel Municipal Center: 8:30 a.m until 10:00 p.m. (after 4:30 Park & Rec area only)
• Senior Center (lower level of 1 School St): 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
• Library: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Bethel Office of Emergency Management does have plans in place for any emergencies, fires, or large power outages that may result in long term needs and will enact those plans as necessary if the need arises.
