Bethel Historical Society Honored As "Best Non-Profit"
The award is presented annually by the Chamber of Commerce.

BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Historical Society was awarded the 2018 Best of Bethel Award for Non-Profit of the Year.
The award is presented annually by the Chamber of Commerce.
On its website, the group touted the numerous events they organized contributed to the Chamber's decision,including a Laura Ingalls Wilder even, a Victorian Christmas Tea, their Colonial Kids Camp with visits to Holbrook Farm, the Masquerade Ball, Ghost Tours, and the newly installed Tour Boxes on historic structures. Last year was also the group's 23rd year of conducting an historic tour for all Bethel 2nd graders, and their first year conducting a day-in-the life of a one-room schoolhouse for all Bethel 3rd graders.
