Bethel Man Arrested for DUI, Less Than Half Ounce of Marijuana

Police found a small baggie of marijuana in the car of the Bethel man after pulling him over for speeding.

On January 11 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Bethel police clocked a driver traveling 45 m.p.h. in 25 m.p.h. zone on Greenwood Ave. near Depot Place.

According to a police report, upon pulling the driver over, police detected an odor of alcohol on the male motorist’s breath and administered a standardized field sobriety test, which he failed. Police also found a small baggie of marijuana in the car.

Police arrested Eric Fuller, 26, of Bethel, for driving while under the influence, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and traveling too fast. He is due in court on Jan. 21, 2016.
