At 2:51 p.m. Thursday, Kraig Gallagher 43 of Bethel, was "found to be in operation of a rented UHaul truck" while trying to park along Greenwood Avenue, according to the Bethel Police. The police were summoned after receiving a complainant that Gallagher appeared to be under the influence.
After a series of sobriety tests, Gallagher was placed under arrest and was later released on $1,000 surety bond. He is due in court on April 25.
