Bethel Man Arrested for Violating Protective Order

After 4 p.m. Thursday, the Bethel Police were called to a property on Mansfield Street after a family member found Steven Cabral, 24, of Bethel, "inside the residence causing a disturbance."

According to police reports, "a court order prevents [Cabral] from being on the property." He was arrested and charged with one count of criminal violation of a protective order. 

Cabral was held on $5,000 bond and will be arraigned in court on Friday.
