Bethel Man Caught With 31 Bags of Marijuana at Probation Meeting
A Bethel man showed up to his probation meeting on Tuesday with 31 bags of marijuana stuffed in his backpack.
Police said a convicted burglar showed up to his probation appointment on Tuesday with 31 bags of marijuana, according to the News Times.
Officers said Terral Belin had a strong odor of marijuana when he came to his probation meeting. When officers asked him to open his backpack, they saw 31 small bags of marijuana and a smoking pipe.
Belin, of Bethel, was charged with a host of offenses including possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court records, Belin was previously found guilty of third degree larceny in 2012, third degree burglary in 2012 and 2013 and also third degree assault in 2013.
